Berry Delicious Smoothies

Berry Delicious Smoothies are a delicious, nutritious healthy snack to make in class. Combining favorite berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries), low-fat yogurt and another gift of bees (honey), this recipe will be a class favorite! One recipe will provide a 2-ounce portion cup for 20 students. I recommend doubling the recipe because kids always want more!

Blueberry Muffins

Always a treat!  Great with breakfast or as a mid-day snack.  Ingredients:  Flour, sugar, baking powder, sale egg, low-fat milk, canola oil, blueberries, cinnamon to sprinkle.  Blueberry Muffins are great to make when studying berries and grains in our diet. Muffins are "quickbreads" so they can be measured, mixed, baked and eaten in an hour class. One recipe will make 12 regular muffins or 24 mini-muffins.
